Course Overview
People involved with government, neighborhood groups, social action, overseas aid, schools,
local councils, sustainability, Indigenous groups, social services, the arts, business and tourism
are all talking about community development as a new way of doing things. This often involves
improving and enhancing the conditions and circumstances of local people and helping
community groups identify and obtain resources to deal with community problems and
aspirations.
This online certificate program is designed for people who currently work in community
development and desire to advance their careers as well as those who plan to work or volunteer
